It all began in the heart of a young man, a youth of sixteen, James Alberione. A powerful idea came to life in him and altered the course of his whole life. At flrst, a simple intuition, a "tiny idea" as small as a grain of sand.

The tiny idea grew into a great design. The great design, in its beauty, sparked off enthusiasm among those who adopted it, a radiant fire that has gradually spread beyond all frontiers.

All this came about as the answer to a calling, the unconditional response of a child inspired by the God of the burning bush.

This was the beginning of the Society of Saint Paul, an apostolic religious congregation founded by Father Alberione in 1914 and made up of priests and brothers pursuing the same vocation and mission in the Church, that of communicating the Word of God through the most rapid and efficient means of communication, such as the press, radio, television, movies, videos and records.

Established in Canada since February 1947, Médiaspaul is directed by the priests and brothers of the Society of Saint Paul who are happy to present to their Customers, all over the World,  this Web Site. We hope that our selection of religious books will be a valuable spiritual nourishment.
